Anne, Max and I were all feeling a bit sick, so we decided to take it easy today.
The weather was really nice. Warm and sunny, although a bit more shade would have been nice.

Continuing our tour prep, this week we had a bit less mileage, but more climbing. We also carried a full touring load, so I could start to get used to how the bike handles when loaded down.

Mission Loop with Alum Rock Seasoning
We have officially started prepping for the summer West Coast tour. This ride starts our training period.
We do the Mission Loop with some regularity when we’re not feeling super creative. Anne did a ride at Alum Rock Park in San Jose in the Cinderella training series last year, and has wanted to go back. We decided to do both.
