The west coast tour doesn’t have much in the way of all-day sustained climbs, so it seemed less important to do the local mountain climbs than it did for the Oregon tour. Still, we figured we ought to do one, and Mt Hamilton won out.

Bay Loop
Ruth had a sleepover last night in Fremont, and the Bay Trail to the north of Moffett Field just reopened after being resurfaced. We figured we’d pick Ruth up with the bikes, then keep going around the bay.
Rain Training: Canada Rd Loop
Anne did this loop last year, as part of an organized training series for Cinderella. She suggested we do it this weekend.
The forecast was for rain, but since we already got the new rain fairing set up, and we anticipate some rainy days on the tour, we figured we’d suit up and go anyways.
