So we went with a classic ride, the Mission loop.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve done this ride a bunch, so there&#8217;s not a ton to say. We stopped for a snack at the Mission San Jose playground, as usual. We let the kids run around on the playground. Ruth made a friend, but we had to tear them apart to continue the ride.<\/p>\n<p>Ruth was feeling helpful and pedaled for the short climbing sections. Everybody made appropriately excited noises for the big downhill. Max yelled a very cute &#8220;we&#8217;re going fast, Daddy!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Then we crossed some highways and began heading back home.
